When I was young, I dreamed of being a wife and mother. I am blessed to live that dream every single day along with my husband Steve, our four children, one son-in-law and two precious pups.

Hey there!
Hi! I'm Billie Jo, a wife to one and mother to four who loves all things home and family. During the day I homeschool, do laundry, and drink way excessive amounts of coffee. I would much rather read than exercise, and I am blessed to live the life I dreamed of.

Sunday Morning

The important thing to remember about plans is that they must always be open to change. For example, if one plans a relaxing, lazy Sunday morning followed by Easter decorating, yet wakes up to an absolute winter wonderland courtesy of Mother Nature and God Himself, one may indeed adjust those plans accordingly.

In other words...We woke up to the most beautiful sight today. And so we threw on random coats, hats, gloves and boots and headed outside. Just because. And it was good.

We now return to our regularly scheduled plans...
Easter Decorating. : )

  1. Mother Nature sure has given us a crazy year! The snow is beautiful and always so peaceful looking - Plan B is a good backup, can't wait to see your Easter decorations!
    Happy Sunday to you!

  2. All that snow Is so beautiful and I love to see it bug, it just reminds me of how thankful I am to live in the South.

  3. How beautiful. Your pictures are amazing. Flynn looks adorable and happy.
I hope you're enjoying the rest of your day.

  4. Beautiful! What a wonderful Sunday.

  5. You are living in a winter wonderland even though tomorrow is the first day of spring.
Life is never boring, is it?

  6. How beautiful the freshly fallen snow decorates your property. I love the color of your little one against the white of the snow. Enjoy yourself. ♥

  7. How fun! What a beautiful snow fall! You are so lucky. In Kansas, we have had almost no snow where I live. I hope next year will bring a bit more, as I love a bit of snow. Hugs. Juli

  8. Gorgeous! Can't wait to see the Easter decorations.

  9. You captured the last days of winter perfectly. The view where you live is amazing.
