Weekend Plans

After the craziness that was last weekend, we are ready for a low key couple of days this weekend. And low key it is. Friday evening is free. I am planning on a family favorite and most requested meal...tuna and noodles. Yep. You read that right. My family actually loves tuna and noodles. And to make it extra exciting, I throw in some peas and bread and butter to make it a meal. After that, it will be a quiet evening of television, hopefully, Shark Tank, and bed!

Saturday is another quiet day. I plan on laundry and bathroom cleaning to round out the morning. Depending on the weather, the kids and Steve will hopefully get in some outdoor time in the snow. The crazy thing about winter in Pennsylvania is that while there may be lots of snow, at times there are also frigid temperatures and crazy winds that make playing in said snow next to impossible! Saturday afternoon we will attend Mass and then have Chinese takeout to celebrate Chinese New Year! It actually falls on Sunday this year, but we are opting to celebrate Saturday for no reason other than we will be driving right past the Chinese restaurant on our way home from Mass. Multitasking at its best!

Sunday is a quiet day in our home. It will more than likely be a day of mourning as football season is over until September. Since soccer doesn't start for a few months, I guess we will have to come up with some other way to spend our Sundays. I suggested getting a head start on the spring cleaning...but was quickly outnumbered on that idea. So instead we will rest and relax, possibly take a nap or two and enjoy the time together. Dinner Sunday will be pasta and tomatoes with garlic bread and fresh fruit. And that is our ultra exciting weekend. I hope yours is happy and restful, whatever your plans may be!

Flynn and I are missing the swingset!

My Peyton is wonderful with Flynn. Here they are making the brownies for Superbowl.
