Not pictured: Laundry, washed and folded, homeschool afternoons at the kitchen table, a quick clean with a wet rag and the vacuum, and cups of coffee on the cozy couch.
Have a lovely weekend, my friends. Any plans? We are spending it at the beach for a few days of relaxation and family fun. See you back here Monday!

The view looks beautiful and I know you are happy to have your warm cozy home! Would you make my lunch today? It looks better than what I make! heehee! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI do not remember where you live. Is the beach here in Florida?
ReplyDeleteHi! No, not Florida. We live in Pennsylvania. It is a drive to the ocean in Maryland!
DeleteNice pics. I should find a lunch container like that for my hubby so he can have some actual lunches. He just throws random snacky stuff in his bag most days. No weekend plans here. Football season is done as far as we're concerned, so maybe we'll start catching up on some of our recorded shows that are hogging space on the DVR.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like the perfect week and further more, the perfect weekend ahead! Enjoy it all!!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo~ What a beautiful view! January can be so blah, but you have a way of making it look beautiful! I love your meals, and the recipe looks delicious, thank you. January is definitely the time of year to get cozy, and you do cozy perfectly! Have a wonderful week-end! Hugs, Barb
ReplyDeleteGreat views both from your kitchen and of the beach. Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove your view and I am SO jealous that you are at the beach. I love the beach and long for the ocean. I hope you have a really wonderful week, Billie Jo. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe view is amazing! Is that where you live? Looks so inviting :)
ReplyDeleteHello! The first photo is the view from where we live. We live in Pennsylvania. The ocean is a favorite vacation spot in Maryland.
DeleteYour view is always amazing! You did good this week - the guest room looks inviting, your hubbies lunches look so good!
ReplyDeleteWe have our granddaughters overnight tonight - right now they are watching Happy Feet, so I'm catching up here. :)
Have a really great time at the beach, Billie Jo. I love those healthy lunches you fix for your husband. Have fun and stay cozy! See you again soon.
ReplyDeleteI am envious of going to the beach! I moved away from the ocean, and live in the midwest, but I'm closer to my grandchildren. However, I am looking at booking a weekend near one of the lakes here.
ReplyDeleteAhhh a beach get-away...sounds so nice, to fall asleep to the waves & water. Yummy looking lunches, beautiful views, and oh yes, still-warm from the dryer jammies are out of this world!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are fun to visit. Instead of complaining about the January dreary, you enjoy the cozy. And the beach, ahh, love it! We're on this short trip to Florida ,picked tomorrows the best beach day option, and it looks like 73 degrees, cloudy, and rain...possible rain. But, possibly NOT rain, right? The girls are all about BEACH....I'm thinking a walk in the white sand of Clearwater beach, even in the rain...is better than not going at all....after all, back in NewYork: snow! Anyway, love your blog:)
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying time at the beach. I'm finally getting to read this, on a Sunday night. So the weekend is just about over as it typically moves way too fast. Hope you have a fantastic week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThose lunches look great.. enjoy your time at the beach.
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of red on your bed with Disney, soooo cute. And fried eggs on top of toast is my favorite too! The lunches look very good and healthy. So thoughtful of you to prepare them. And your kitchen view is pretty, especially looking out to all that snow when it happens. : )
