You're little Valentines tree!!!!!! I never decorate for V-Day & dont know why - it makes me smile. I'm usually ready for Easter decorations as soon as the holidays come down - give me SPRING
So warm and welcoming, love the decorations. I have candy dishes with conversation hearts, and pink Hershey kisses, and some pink flowers....after the Christmas stuff comes down, it looks like the Grinch came through, and we have to put SOMETHING nice up! :)
Oh, that little gnome made me smile. Your touches of LOVE are sweet around your house, Billie Jo. And every time I see the Valentine cards that we used to give out in school, it makes me smile. I still send them to my grandgirls every year. That one lit candle looks so nice on your table. And the string of lights on your mantel are simple and look perfect for the holiday. Your lit-up tree is sweet, and it reminds me of the Christmas tree my aunt gave me. It was all white with red lights. I gave it away through the years, and I always wish I hadn't. Oh well.
Have a good rest of the week, Billie Jo. It's always nice seeing all the goodies around your house that make a home. : )
Because you've inspired me, we have a red and white check table cloth on our table. I'm going to start looking for seasonal decor at thrift shops and yard sales, too. As a cancer survivor, I want to start celebrating life more. We don't have football decor, but we're getting family (kids grown) and having a party with food, games, and of course the game on.
