Madison and Nicolas hosted our Fourth of July festivities this year, and we all enjoyed a wonderful day together. There were hot dogs, potato salad, and lemonade on the table, John Phillip Sousa on the speaker, and fireworks on the television for some, over the lake for others. We made wonderful new memories to add to the ones of the Fourth of July in the past.
Like this one. One of my favorites.

ReplyDeleteA Family 4th of July!
Our next door son's family, plus a girl friend, spent the after noon in our pool. With music and much fun. It was one tradition, that did not get cancelled, by the miserable Wuhan Virus!!!!
Gotta' count the Wins!!!! -smile-
Happy 5th of July...
Awesome! Have a beautiful week ahead, smiles.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. Your babies as babies with bomb pops, just the sweetest!! So glad you had a wonderful 4th! Sounds like perfection to me!
ReplyDeleteWhere'd you get that header!?!?!?! Looooove it. : ) I love your family, just looking at them all makes me feel even more patriotic! Sounds like you guys had a perfect 4th of July.
ReplyDeleteAlso.. Girrrrrl, I have the best Halloween Kills idea!! Hopefully it will be released on a pay per view format due to the pandemic and I can use Sally's outdoor movie player and watch it in the back yard.. I was thinking of hanging a white sheet from the deck for the movie screen. With a bonfire, and smores, and spooky critter sounds, it could be the best Halloween movie night in history. haha
Another wonderful party adding to the amazing memories that you have. Those dipped strawberries look delicious.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful 4th celebration. Hope the new week ahead is good for you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful celebration, everyone dressed for the 4th (then and now). I wish I lived next door to celebrate with your sweet family:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful 4th of July, Billie Jo. Those chocolate covered strawberries look so Yummy. And I love Peyton's Stars and Stripes t-shirt, so cute. The daisies photo with the flag and candle brought a smile to my face, as daisies remind me of my Mom. That's a cozy photo. And the old picture of the kids is priceless. Oh, I remember those red, white, and blue popsicles, what fun! A 4th of July over the lake sounds perfect. : )
