I plan on doing just that, my friends.
Our Christmas preparations are winding down, and we are ready to relax and enjoy this beautiful season.
Wednesday, December 18th ~ Steve's final work Christmas party
Friday, December 20th ~ Family Movie Night (My turn!)
Saturday, December 21~ Mass, Finalize grocery list
Sunday, December 22 ~ Annual Rudolph Breakfast, Christmas Concert (Peyton's boyfriend Christopher and his family hold one every year.)
Monday, December 23 ~ Grocery Pickup, Secret Santa family gift exchange, iron tablecloth, finalize church clothes, wash Christmas Eve pajamas
Christmas Eve ~ Light Christmas Eve candle, track Santa on Norad, watch Santa Claus is Coming to Town, prepare Christmas Eve dinner, attend Mass, set out stockings and cookies for Santa, and read 'Twas The Night Before Christmas
How about you, my friends?
How are your preparations coming along?
Are you all ready?
And if not, does it really matter?
Have a cozy Wednesday!
It's coming along nicely over here. The only thing I am really struggling with is that we are way behind in getting our Christmas movies in, but in trying to not have too much time spent in front of the TV on school days (because I have seen a difference in how they sleep if they do) we just may not get to all the ones I'd like. Such a little thing I guess but it kind of does matter to me. Maybe we should adopt your Rudolph breakfast? We don't have any fancy gear but we could certainly make memories together anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteI still have to get the stuff for the lasagna, other than that, all is well. Smiles Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. smiles.
ReplyDeleteI have made no plans...other than to pack up my few gifts to go to my oldest daughter's house for celebrating. Blessings to all of you, be safe. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI feel so behind, but then I am so sick does it matter? Why yes it does, hope the girls can help when they get here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! Lovely plans! Have a very Merry Christmas. God bless.
ReplyDeleteDear Billie Jo,
ReplyDeleteYour tree is exceptionally pretty. I've been listening to Christmas music, I've watched some Christmas movies, baked some cookies and pies. I've been busy knitting a pair of socks for my husband. My husband has arranged to sell some things so that I will be able to do a bit of Christmas shopping. I hope he completes the sale soon. Thankfully, there's still 2 day shipping with Amazon! I don't feel up to going out to shop yet. Feeling pretty good now after my surgery. I had no idea how far behind the recovery would put me! So, I've still got 2019 things left to do before Christmas. Now I need to prioritize. ~smile~
Enjoy my friend!
Laura
I got your book today! Thank you for the extra copy. I look forward to reading it. Yes, inhale calmness - that's a good one. : )

All prepared here and looking forward to a relaxed lead up to Christmas which involves as much indoor time in front of the air conditioner as possible! Merry Christmas and enjoy the special things you have planned. xx Susan
ReplyDeleteI love the book!! Everyone get it! A sweet sweet read!!!! Thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm close to being done. Our daughter arrives from Pennsylvania on the 21st, a huge Christmas Concert at church on the 22nd, (I'll be working most of the day) we're all going to the movies on the 23rd. Christmas Eve our girls all want to sleep here (the first time in years!) so I'm really looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteI think we all definitely needed to hear that, as this time of year can really increase our stresses!
ReplyDeleteBy the way - your tree is beautiful! I love the little North Pole sign. Have a great weekend!
We're ready. I just have some cooking to do for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day.
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful Christmas, This year I didnt do as much as I usually do but you know what it was just as if not better than years past. We had our daughter home from college and spent a wonderful time at Grandmas house.
