A Bunch Of Random Photos On A Friday

Mocha is having a hard time letting go of Christmas.

Inspired by my bestie Marian, I now carry a banana with me at all times in case of emergencies.
She refers to it as "the portable fruit".

Saturday nights at the pizza place are super fun.

But so is this.
And take note: worlds collide!

Nicolas' mother sent me this beautiful pillow cover for Christmas.
I adore it.
And her!

Teacher and student are happy to be back in school!

And as much as I love the holidays, I am happy to have a clean, crisp kitchen again.

Happy Weekend, friends!

  4. Right there with Mocha as are lots of our neighbors who still have their outdoor decorations going strong. I may or may not still have a bit of Christmas out around here as well. Cute mug! Love that pillow. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  5. I love Bananas myself! Do you know they sell banana cases on Amazon, so if you carry a banana with you in your bag, it won't get bruised up. (Also they are pink!) Kind of fun. I hope you have a cozy weekend my friend. Hugs to you. ~Juli

  7. Loved this post! I think we are all glad to have Christmas behind us...as much as we love it. There is something about the "normal" routine that makes me crave it. :) Love the pillow cover from Nicolas' mom. My favorite pic though is the last one. While I totally understand that it was photoshopped I just have to ask if you were on your way to Mass? :) xo

  13. Ha ha ha!! Love that last photo of you! I'm not a banana eater. I'll eat one with ice cream and sometimes will just eat one because it is there and it is good for you, but I really don't care for banana anything. Great pictures, especially of the kiddos! Happy weekend!

  19. At first I thought the Christmas tree was IN the mug somehow! We had a lot of hot chocolate this year, a lot more than normal. We're not usually hot chocolate drinkers but this year we put whipped cream on it and sprinkled crushed-up candy canes on the top. Oooh, SO good! Hope you're having a good weekend!

Thank you for sharing these lovely, cozy views. The photo with the beautiful peace pillow exudes peace in itself, so calming. And I love Squirrel's New Year's Resolution! I read it around the time I was finishing college and thought it was so cute.

Have a very blessed day and happy new year to you and yours!♥
