Nine...In Disney World!

My baby turned nine last week. Nine! We celebrated her during our recent trip to Disney, and she was thrilled! Flynn brings such joy to our days, and we were so happy to bring joy to her all week long.

Disney does an amazing job recognizing any special event you may be celebrating...especially birthdays!

Every restaurant brought a different celebration...

Including the Volcano at The Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom!

And two desserts in Hollywood Studios!
It all led up to her actual birthday, and it was a wonderful day for our girl.

We started early with cake for breakfast...

Then it was pictures with the birthday girl!

We spent the day in Magic Kingdom, where she met her very favorite princess, Cinderella herself...

And a brand new favorite too!
Elena of Avalor was hilarious!

After watching an afternoon parade, we had a special birthday lunch for our girl...

And she was so happy when the entire restaurant sang to her!

She has grown so much since our last trip to Disney!
I treasure every single day with this blessing that completed our family on that snowy day nine years ago.

  1. Happy Birthday! Glad she had a magical time celebrating. My "baby" has celebrated several birthdays at Disney, too. She will turn 12 in the middle of our trip in March next year.

  3. Oh Flynn, the world is so happy you're here and nine! She is so tall my friend, how did that happen? I am so glad she is yours and you were able to celebrate her and Mickey in style. (I am also happy to hear that even if she is tall and nine she still loves Cinderella!)

  18. I seem to have missed this post. Happy, Happy 9th Birthday to your sweet girl! She is the same age as my daughter. This is such a fun and sweet age. I bet our daughters would be great friends. My daughter celebrated her 5th birthday at Disney and it was so much fun! We have a surprise 10th birthday trip to NYC planned for her in March. I'm so excited! There will be tea at the Plaza with Eloise and many other fun things.
