A Touch Of Fall...For The First Time!

I have been waiting to decorate our new home for fall since the day we moved in. April 1st, to be exact. After a beautiful summer, the blissful days of September finally arrived. Here is a peek at our cozy home, all decorated for my favorite...autumn. Some of our decorations survived "The Great Purge of 2018" as Marian refers to the frenzied whole house cleanup that occurred before we packed to move. And others are new and are adding a fresh cozy feel to our new home.

Happy and cozy fall, my friends.
Enjoy!

  8. I love your Autumn décor. So cozy. I am being stubborn and not putting ours out until later this month. I find it hard to feel like Autumn when temperatures are in the high 80s and humid.

  10. Hi Billie Jo. You do a wonderful job with your blog -- so inspiring and honest. As I will be downsizing in 2019, I'm wondering if you might possibly do a post or a series of posts dealing with your method of downsizing. It is starting to appear as a overwhelming task. I'm sure others would love to read your method. Thank you. --Etta

  13. Are you sure you arent a home design/decorator? Your home always looks so beautiful, and in place and having reared 4 children, I know that isnt always easy. You are organized I know that and it helps. But again, your home looks so seasonal and cozy.

  20. I am SO glad I am seeing this! I am in the process of trying to minimize my home decor and holiday decorations. This all looks just PERFECT . . . communicates the season but is not overwhelming. So beautiful and tastefully done -- I am inspired and going to be referring to this post often in coming weeks!
