I have been waiting to decorate our new home for fall since the day we moved in. April 1st, to be exact. After a beautiful summer, the blissful days of September finally arrived. Here is a peek at our cozy home, all decorated for my favorite...autumn. Some of our decorations survived "The Great Purge of 2018" as Marian refers to the frenzied whole house cleanup that occurred before we packed to move. And others are new and are adding a fresh cozy feel to our new home.
Happy and cozy fall, my friends.
Enjoy!
My goodness what a joy to visit and have a look around your beautiful home. The seasonal decor looks wonderful, you are certainly blessed.
ReplyDeleteLooks so warm and cozy!!! I love all your fall décor! I can imagine us sitting on the sofa sipping pumpkin spice coffee...and having a few of those chocolate treats too! : ) I love all your little touches of autumn! Welcome to our favorite season! Looks beautiful, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty!! Love your fall decorating!
ReplyDeleteFall is looking great at your place. I put out my porch stuff...haha two items. Have not unpacked anything else yet. I love it, I love the colors and you have it all looking so nice.
ReplyDeleteI just love your Fall touches and of course how cozy your home always is! I still need to pull out my decor and I can't wait to smell some pumpkin candles burning all day ;)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so gorgeous and If I haven't mentioned it before, I love your new house! we are only a state away from each other, we need to meet in the middle and do something FALL/HAOOLOWEENY!! That would be fuuun!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, so lovely and classy. It's just wonderful. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love your Autumn décor. So cozy. I am being stubborn and not putting ours out until later this month. I find it hard to feel like Autumn when temperatures are in the high 80s and humid.
ReplyDeleteYou always do a lovely job decorating :-) I pulled my things out to decorate but I think I may wait till after the hurricane passes.... not sure if we will get flooded or what may happen :-( Have a great afternoon!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
Hi Billie Jo. You do a wonderful job with your blog -- so inspiring and honest. As I will be downsizing in 2019, I'm wondering if you might possibly do a post or a series of posts dealing with your method of downsizing. It is starting to appear as a overwhelming task. I'm sure others would love to read your method. Thank you. --Etta
ReplyDeleteHello Etta!
DeleteThat is a wonderful idea!
I will start writing it this weekend.
Thank you!
I simply love it all. It is so cozy and charming. I love it!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you arent a home design/decorator? Your home always looks so beautiful, and in place and having reared 4 children, I know that isnt always easy. You are organized I know that and it helps. But again, your home looks so seasonal and cozy.
ReplyDeleteOnce again your home looks so warm and cozy. Love the hand towel in the kitchen and the greenery on your mantel.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, Janie

ReplyDeleteI am SO glad I am seeing this! I am in the process of trying to minimize my home decor and holiday decorations. This all looks just PERFECT . . . communicates the season but is not overwhelming. So beautiful and tastefully done -- I am inspired and going to be referring to this post often in coming weeks!
ReplyDeleteLove.
