Crisp, cool mornings
Sweaters and fuzzy socks
Pumpkin Spice everything
Candles burning all day long
Pumpkins, cornstalks, and colorful mums
New crayons, pencils, and schoolbooks
Earlier evenings
Crockpot meals simmering in the kitchen
Comfy throws on the sofa
New seasons of old, favorite shows
Football on Sundays
Apple pie and pumpkin muffins
Green becoming red, yellow, orange and purple
Hot cocoa and a good book on a Saturday
Leaves swirling in a breeze
Smoke swirling from chimneys
Feeling all the cozy.
How about you, my friends??
My list too, looking forward to cooler days:) The weather folks say that today is going to be little bit lower humidity, I'll take it! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I just posted something similar. Have a beautiful day Billie Jo. smiles
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for all that you listed. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteMe toooooo! I am usually sad to see summer go, but it's been so hot and rainy this year, I'm ready for a change!
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, I have been LOVING using my crock-pot all summer because it doesn't heat up my kitchen! I baked a cake in the crock-pot last night and today we are having baked pasta via the crock-pot as well. I am still looking forward to fall anyway though. :)
ReplyDeleteCame a little early here so I haven't had to wait. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you, my friend! Autumn is my MOST favorite season of the year...even though there are wonderful aspects to each season. I love watching the leaves on the trees changing color. And as I grow older I am appreciating the things that speak new seasons even more.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, also looking forward to fall! :)
ReplyDeleteSo am I.. so am I.. except for the early evenings.

I love fall and am excited for everything that comes with it but this year I really don't want summer to end.
ReplyDeleteBeen using my crock pot all summer thanks to late swim practices! :) And while I am not ready for summer to be over, I am ready for some football! And the only thing nice about pumpkin spice everything season is that soon peppermint everything season will be here. I do love some peppermint flavored coffee! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes to everything!!! In two weeks I'm switching over all my candles to pumpkin everything. I can hardly wait ♥
ReplyDeleteSo looking forward to Fall. While we have had a "mild" summer compared to many in the past. Today it was hot hot hot! With us avoiding the heat and sun, due to hubby's diagnosis and subsequent surgery, we have spent a lot of time indoors. But, it's not the same as cozy fall days and evenings when you can cuddle with a blanket, a good book and a fire. Well, the fire part may have to wait til December around these parts!
ReplyDeleteNow I can hardly wait!!!
ReplyDeleteBring it on!!
ReplyDeleteNo, no, no!! I am not done with summer yet! I've been working so much I haven't had a chance to get out in it much this year. I want to get so sick of the sun and the heat that I'll be ready for Fall, but I'm not there yet! :)
ReplyDeleteAutumn and Spring are my favorite seasons but it’s still full summer in Oklahoma and most likely will be through September.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to cooler days and burning candles again
Same!!!!
ReplyDeleteALL OF THESE!!! Oh my gosh, it's been so hot lately that I can't burn my candles during the day and that is just horrible when I'm home all day without my babies with me. Nothing sounds better than candles burning all day, cuddling under blankets and watching movies!! Hurry Fall :)
ReplyDeleteMe too.......The coziness of Fall cannot be beat. LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for visiting my blog! I was just thinking about FALL and PUMPKINS wondering if I put out my decorations, would it lure the cooler weather down south?! HA! It's usually summer through October down here in Louisiana but I can't wait for some cool(er) weather.
ReplyDeleteno, not yet...I'm hangin' on to summer with all I have but I can sure feel fall in the air. Summer has flown by and I want to stay around for a bit longer....
ReplyDeleteYes! I love all things fall!
ReplyDeleteMy lovely gift arrived today...the smell is DELICIOUS..Thank you so much Billie Jo. I wanted to attach a photo but I could not figure out how to do it. LOL..oh well
ReplyDeleteYay! I am so happy you received it! Enjoy!
DeleteNot quite the same here in Florida, but school did start this week.
ReplyDeleteYes - be patient and don't rush the days - savor the moments - even the heat and the dry days because there is something beautiful to be found in each day. Don't waste a minute thinking about or even pinning for yesterday or tomorrow - it is so true- today is all we have - make the very most of it. Enjoy a pumpkin latte in the middle of summer ♥
