Random Photo Friday

We are on the other side of The Fourth of July, my friends. That can mean only one thing. All the sunscreen, pool toys, and beach towels are quickly being replaced with notebooks, crayons, and pencils at your neighborhood big box stores. And to quote my best friend Marian, I reject that! As much as I love autumn and all things Back to School, I am in no way ready to leave these blissful summer days just yet.

Just what do some of those blissful summer days look like around here? Well, let's see...















We are loving this new beautiful place in which we we live.
The lake, the pool, the absolute beauty...
And in just a few days we will welcome Nicolas' family here to spend some time with us!
We are all so happy to be together in not only the same country, but in the same house!

    Amen to that. The back to school things started rolling in here a couple weeks ago, as the kiddos here start back the first week of August!! But what really gets to me every year is the craft stores bringing out fall and Christmas this time of year. Sad really.

    I am so happy you are enjoying your new home. Back to school starts entirely too early....we still have 2-3 months of summer here to spend. Hope all goes smoothly with Nicholas' family and I know they will love your family and home.

    How wonderful to be hosting Nicolas' family! I love your summer! I pre-bought school supplies in May when school was going on so that I don't have to even think about it and we can just enjoy the summer. The pool and the lake look quite inviting, even for us shade folk! Happy weekend.
