Random Photo Friday

Friday again! I hope your week was happy and healthy and full of all things cozy. We spent the week cozy inside our home as the snow fell yet again. I know soooo many people are over winter, and I totally understand. I, however, am embracing these last few days of cozy-stay inside-and snuggle-time. I know that spring will come, the grass will grow, the flowers will bloom, and the sun will shine someday soon. Until then, I'll be right here, snuggled under my blanket sipping my coffee.

Marian came last weekend!
We always have the best time with her.
Eating out, eating in, watching movies, going to movies, playing games, or just sitting around laughing, we all cherish our time with her.
Thanks Mar! See you soon!

She humors me when I insist on selfies too.

And she drinks my smoothies anytime I make them.
(Awkward pose here, right?!?)

The puppies are adjusting beautifully to their new home.
They just need love.
And treats.
And love.

And Daddy to come home from work.
Disregard the mounds of unpacked boxes in our garage.
Real life.

Madison and I had a great lunch out together this week.
To all the moms out there with little ones who are growing up...Don't be sad.
Really.
Adult children are awesome!
Yes, I miss little Madison.
But I adore adult Madison so.

I enjoyed afternoon coffee in Madison's mug...

While my girls took a walk on the very first nice day.

  5. Awesome!! I am willingly accepting the forecast for this weekend. Honestly, if it wasn't for our soccer game I wouldn't care at all! (And if it's raining or cold, you bet your bottom dollar us girls are just going to stay home because I see no reason for all of us to be soaked to the bone!) I am so glad you are getting to spend all this time with your people!! Mocha and Kirby look right at home already!

  6. Hi Billie Jo~

How wonderful is it to have a best friend like Marian?! And I can see that you girls love her as much as you do, so cool.

It looks like you are settling into your new home quite beautifully...everyone looks happy and relaxed, even the pups.

I am trying to enjoy our prolonged winter/spring days, they will be gone, and I will complain about the heat...mark my word! I try not to complain about it because it doesn't stay long, but I will, even though I say I won't...;0)

What a beautiful photo of Flynn! Like everyone else, I'm looking forward to more gorgeous photos of your place.

    Have a happy week-end yourself!!

    Hugs and Love,
    Barb

  8. Oh I needed that part about 'to all you moms out there with younger ones growing up, don't be sad" because our home vacation week is almost over and I'm sad. Thank goodness for the peek into how blessed adult children can be! Thanks for sharing!

  9. One of my friends says that when you have a daughter, you are raising your new best friend. I can already see that happening with my daughter (who is currently eleven) and it makes me happy. :-)

We're still enjoying cozy weather here as well. :-)

I can relate to your relationship/friendship with Madison....I have two grown daughters and always remember the sweet times when they were little, but appreciate the contact with have with one another now. I am so glad you are settling in your new home, and had Marion come to see and enjoy as well. Have a blessed and cozy weekend.
