Random Photo Friday

Just some random pictures. That's it. : )

Besties.
And the winter coat?

Well, this would be why. : )

I really don't mind.
Honest.

It means we can have cozy meals like this one.
We call it Baked Pierogies.
We simply layered still frozen mini pierogies with some onions sautéed in butter and some shredded cheddar cheese. Then we baked it for around 30 minutes covered and 10 more uncovered at 400 degrees. And it was good.

And...Steve brought me pretty spring colors too.

Flynn made a pretty craft this week.
Painters tape on canvas painted over with acrylics.
Then, once dry, we peeled off the tape.
Pretty and easy and fun.

Then it was spring again.

Yesterday was my parent's 60th wedding anniversary.
We took mom out to dinner to celebrate.
We missed Dad.
I am thankful for their love story.

Have a great weekend, my friends.
Chilly and cozy and snowy here.
And you know what?
I really don't mind. : )

  1. My mother-in-law makes a pierogi casserole like the one you made. It's funny for me to call them pierogies though. In Ukraine, they are called pedaheh, and my grandparents came over from Ukraine so we've always called them that. They used to make homemade pedaheh, though. I love the canvas art. I did something similar with my kids a couple of years ago and both are still hanging on our walls.

  9. Love it! You have such beautiful babies. Mocha included. We make pierogi lasagna and it's delicious. But I am very Polish so we basically eat them in any form.
