The Hot Pup

 My Mocha likes to rest in the sun. I tell Flynn it is because she likes the warmth of the sun. And one recent sunny winter day, I came into the family room and found my baby girl doing this...

Reading one of her school booklets to Mocha.
It is called " The Hot Pup".  : )



And then they got cozy and read it again. And again.
And I was happy.

    That is so sweet!!! Our library has a Read to a Dog program to help kids with their out-loud reading. My girl did it one year and it was so fun to see and listen to her read to a sweet pup!

    Awe... how very sweet! Our new little pup likes to lay near the door in the sunshine too. Daisy is still so little that I think it keeps her warm. It's so nice when our kids just brighten up the day! I need to tell the boys to read to Daisy... keeps them busy and me happy! :)

    That is adorable! Flynn is such a sweetie and Mocha is just too cute! I wish I had a cute little lap dog, cuddling with my big ol' Lab just isn't all that fun!
