We had to reschedule our Fish Fry dinner with our friend Blueberry Mary. So we picked her and my mom up last Friday evening and spent the night eating fish fry and playing games. We always have so much fun with Mary...who will be celebrating her birthday on St. Patrick's Day. She is past eighty and can still beat us in cards! We finished the night with ice cream sundaes served by our little waitress Flynn.
My little leprechaun all set for mass last Saturday...
while Monday brought an old favorite back to our TV!
And Peyton made a delicious cookie cake to celebrate.
If you haven't seen this show yet, check it out!
Oh, and put the littles to bed first. ; )
As Kindergarten winds down, I am looking ahead to First Grade. I simply love looking through the catalog and seeing what we will be doing! I used Catholic Heritage Curricula this year and loved it! I will most definitely be continuing using it for years to come.
We had a few spring like days...
where the skies displayed blue hues as the sun shone through.
And it was good.
Other days were a bit more chilly.
We don't mind those days one single bit. : )
I made an awesome fruit salad this week.
And felt compelled to share it on Snapchat.
I received my sweet purchase from my dear friend and Blogger Stephanie's Etsy Shop.
I adore these teacup coasters. They match perfectly with my kitchen.
Thank you Stephanie!
A super sweet neighbor dropped off the most delicious cream cheese Danish for us.
And it was amazing!
I asked for the recipe.
And of course, I will share. : )
My little Mocha likes to be rocked after her bath.
So we do. : )
This is why I tell my girls to marry a man just like their father.
He treats his mother like a queen.
And indeed, she is.
Oh. And then there's this.
Enough said.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
You were on my mind this morning so I went to looking for your blog.
ReplyDeleteMiss you on IG. Hope all is well.

Such a lovely week. Flynn looked gorgeous all set for Mass in her St Patricks Day outfit, a real cutie. Lots of memories made to treasure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun week! Love that cookie -- have not seen Bates Motel -- but it kind of scares me to think about! :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello Billie Jo. I always enjoy looking in on your and family. Looks like a nice week. Enjoy the weekend and Happy St. Pat's Day to you next week!
ReplyDeleteYou have a very full life indeed!
ReplyDeleteI always have told my girls to watch very carefully at how a man treats his mother. Because that is how he will treat you. My oldest married a man very much like her own Daddy. He is wonderful. My middle daughter is unmarried. I am hoping she will find a man who treats her as she should be treated one day . My son is unmarried, but we adore his girlfriend. So the prospects look good!
Happy Friday to you!
xo Kris
