A Benefit Of Training A New Puppy

Training a little puppy forces you to get up and out in the early hours of the morning. And there is something unbelievably magical about that...about seemingly being the only one in the world awake and having the time to stop and admire the beauty of our world. I now have these moments every morning and I am finding I enjoy the silence with my pup and my Flynn before the chaos of the day begins. Today, we took some time to snap some pictures on this late October morning. I left them unedited, because they were just that amazing on their own.

Try it sometime. With or without a new puppy. : )

  1. Great pictures. I saw the frost on the ground and thought you were by a lake. So pretty, and so nice how you see this as a special time, not begrudging getting out early in the cold.

  5. We got our puppy in Jan. Very very cold. But those early hours, in the cold crisp darkness, were really amazing. I get it!

  10. Ha! Nothing like a puppy to get us up and going in the early morning. And I do agree, it is a beautiful time of day. I love it. Definitely a morning person here, and I'd hate to miss out on the glory of sunrises. The puppy and Flynn would make great walking companions. How wonderful!
