Good morning!!! As I sit here typing, I hear lawnmowers humming, birds singing, and see small signs all around that this little piece of the world is waking up to another summer day. I am enjoying my first cup of coffee and am getting organized for the day. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Here are just a few pictures of our basically typical summer weekend.
Madison baked two perfectly perfect loaves and was sure to share. Is it even summer without a slice of zucchini bread with a slather of melted butter now and then?
Not too long ago, a dear friend asked me where I shopped for clothes. Although shopping and posing are not two of my strong points, I took this selfie last night to text a picture to Madison. She suggested I share it here for anyone who may be looking for someplace to shop. I found both of these at Ann Taylor online. I did get the slacks in petite, and I am glad I did. I am 5'4, by the way. And if you want to see this outfit in a less awkward photo...
Here we are when we stopped at the condo after Mass. We finished the night with dinner out at one of our favorite places, and ran into one of our very favorite managers there!
This morning's walk was beautiful.
And lastly, I had a couple of questions about how I make my iced coffee. I just brew extra in the morning, and then I pour it over ice. I top it with some cold foam creamer...I like International Delights... and then enjoy!
Have a wonderful Monday, my friends!

Good Morning! I love your outfit! I have been struggling with where to shop for clothes. Thanks for the suggestion!! Also LOVE the picture of Flynn and Rhett! :) Happy Monday and have a great day! Miss you lots!! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love Ann Taylor and Loft as well (it's sister co) and you look lovely in both the posing and with Steve. :) What a lovely weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you look so beautiful in this outfit! It is really so pretty and summery. I always have trouble wearing fashion that looks good on me. But you seem to always look so good. You have a great sense of fashion. Your walk photos are awesome! The beautiful sky. And wow, the White Heron with his wings out and the reflection!!! You captured the perfect moment. I'm guessing you could put the coffee in the fridge for later in the day, then foam and drink it at lunchtime. I am going to look at the cold foams today.
ReplyDeleteOooo so glad you posted your tea!! It looks so refreshing and you know I am a tea lover... Southern girl through and through...The foam is something I've never added but I sure plan on doing so... This is such a cute outfit and perfect for the summer months. think I will mosey on over and check out their online site. ...you always look so cute and stylish in your outfits... Always excited to see what you and Flynn come up with for foods... ❤️
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great life. Thanks for sharing bits and pieces of it with us. Oh, you're one inch taller than me. That outfit looks great on you.
