Delicious fresh fish and vegetables from the market...
Madison treating me to an afternoon tea that was lovely and delicious...
Cosmo in his natural habitat...
A new cookbook holder on my counter...
Lots of this...
And thoughts of this.
Have a lovely weekend, my friends!
Thanks for visiting!

A lovely post...and am especially drawn to the last bit of wisdom! Thank you, my friend, for the reminder of what is really important. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo! The food you post pictures of always makes me so hungry! Sounds like you had a nice, cozy week. I love that recipe holder. I hope you have a lovely weekend. I love the idea of a "Soft Life Era" of life. Great post. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteYour soft life era is amazing. And all these scenes from your week exemplify that you're living your best right now!
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to visit here Billie Jo. I sure like the idea of a "soft life era." Happy Weekend...
ReplyDeleteI am here for the soft life era! Your tea with Madison looks so lovely! I know that y'all enjoyed that so much. And yay for a cookbook holder! I need to get one of these myself!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely reminder to live, not stress!
ReplyDeleteYou enjoy your weekend too! Enjoyed the photos and that saying is very good on the soft life era.
ReplyDeleteYour meal looks like it came from a restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft life era saying!
I want a soft life era!
ReplyDeleteI love your cookbook holder - that's so cute to display on your counter!
ReplyDeleteThe fish and vegetables look a little naked...as Manu Feildel says, "where's the sauce?"
ReplyDeleteI like your green tea post. I have those measuring cups too. :
ReplyDeleteOh Billie Jo that's so where I am right now. I long to create a space - a life - of ease, and as little stress as possible. I find my rest in the Lord, but this life is not what He had in mind for us. The chaos and anger and fear. His intention for us was the Garden of Eden and that's what I'm longing for. One day it will come. One day! In the meantime I try to recreate it here in my little home.
ReplyDeleteYes to that last thought!! I enjoyed your post, Billie Jo! Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteLoving this post and the calm sweet photos. How I need a life of no stress right now. We're still in the midst of Mom-stuff. I miss her. We both wake up thinking of what time we're going to Mom's that day to check on her. Then we remember. It's hard. Thank you for helping ease the stress today.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
That little guy is so stinkin' cute. And I get the whole thing about leading a soft life. It's my goal too :-)
ReplyDeleteA lovely week. And I'm definitely here for the last part :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great post, my friend. Wishing you a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteSweet scenes from the week - as it should be - making memories, sweet fur faces, good food - ahhh. Just right!
ReplyDeleteIt's always so comforting to read your reflections, Billie Jo. Your love for the simple joys in life—like afternoon tea, fresh market finds, and quiet cozy moments—really shines through. I admire how you’ve embraced the life you dreamed of, filled with warmth, family, and peace. It’s inspiring to see someone so content in their own rhythm, especially in a world that often moves too fast. Thank you for sharing a bit of that calm with us. Wishing you a lovely and restful weekend, just the way you like it.

Wherever did you find the Saints Cookbook? I'd love to get one. It's so nice to see pretty china set for tea. You don't see it that often. So dear of Madison to treat you to tea and those scrumptious goodies. I love the "soft life era" quote. It sounds like something in my life right now too. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with you, Billie Jo.
