Thank You, Winners, and Peach Cake!

Good Friday morning, my friends! Thank you so very much for all the kind and thoughtful comments on my anniversary post. I enjoy this community so much and am grateful for all the wonderful people I have met here. I wish every single one of you could have won! This morning, Steve and Mocha helped me choose the winners in a very scientific way ~ choosing random numbers to correspond to each person ~ and the winners are:

Amazon Gift Card ~

Amy

Yankee Candle Gift Card ~

Karen

Dunkin' Gift Cards ~

Jenny from NC

Mo

A Joyful Chaos

Please email or message me, and I will send your gift card right back to you!

Again, thank you all. And because this is so fun, I am putting a reminder on my phone to do it again in the fall. Because what better reason to celebrate, right???

Lastly, I must share this delicious fresh peach cake with you! Peyton dropped it off for Steve this week because it was one week since our Kirby left us. She is so thoughtful and a fantastic bake too. If you want to try it, she found the recipe HERE.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friends. We are celebrating Kyrstin's birthday with Steve's homemade fried rice and some time on the lake. Thanks again for visiting!

Billie Jo

  2. I love peaches! How delicious. I am still laughing this morning that I started an account and didn't finish it (to follow you) NINE years ago! ha! To my defense, I had two young children at the time (the youngest being one) and I was heavily pregnant with my third and then I had a fourth after some time too. It has been such a wild and busy ride the last several years with kiddos. My youngest is 5 now and I feel like I have more room to breathe and not be as busy with many little one's running around. I love you for who you are and while I've rarely commented your words and photo's and being have been such a blessing to me. Have a wonderful weekend Billie Jo!

  4. I got some peaches on Monday at Baumans and cut them up two days ago. I'm going to make a pie out of the peaches next week so I froze them. My sister found an adorable young dog this week and she's happy to have another dog since hers left is gone. She said her 2 cats smelled dog and realized is a dog but it'd smaller than they are, for now. It's a German Australian shepherd.
    Hugs and blessings.

  12. Hello, Dear Friend, and congratulations on your 11th blogging anniversary, I am so sorry I missed the post, but enjoyed seeing the photos you shared, sometimes I go back and look at some of the photos I have posted, and it always brings such a smile, and ask myself, where has time gone.
The peach cake looks so delicious, I love peaches anyway you can fix them.
Thank you for visiting me and for your sweet comment, I am finding it so hard to get back to regular blogging due to the abundance of our garden this year, which keeps me so busy.
Enjoy your special time relaxing, and celebrating at the lake.

    2. Hi Jenny! No, I haven't received it. Are you using the "Drop me a note sometime" on the side of the blog? I just tested it and it works.
