Good morning, my friends! And yes, this would be my view right now. It is indeed chilly and rainy outside, so I am using this opportunity to indulge in the coziness of the fire. I know I have precious few days left before the sun and warmth of summer arrive. In fact, it is beginning to look a bit springlike here at the lake. Slowly, I may add.
Little by little, buds are appearing, opening and adding green touches to the barren brown. The weekend here looks to be rainy and cool. If it is also forecast for inside time for you, you may want to check out the Netflix series we all are currently obsessing over. Have you seen it yet? It is called ANIMAL, and it is fantastic.
(Netflix)
We have watched the episodes entitled Apes and Bears so far. It is not just another nature documentary, I promise. The footage is unbelievable! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, my friends. Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate it when you do.

I wish we had Netflix, we watch almost all the nature and animal documentaries. You live in the most beautiful place! And what is that burning in your fireplace, it looks like a rainbow!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful view! And that series sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteOh Animals looks like a good one! Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteHow true, the quote about anxiety!
ReplyDeleteWhere you live looks so peaceful.
It's not gotten too warm here yet but everything is green and beautiful! I do love spring! Enjoy your cozy fire as long as you can, friend! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteDearest Billie Jo,
ReplyDeleteWell, April weather sure has been up and down.
I'm wearing shorts but also a light woolen sweater for protection and with long sleeves.
Since I'm not yet fully recovered—still on iron pills—I easily feel cold.
But important is to stay healthy without catching any cold.
Love the view and that deer passing by is precious.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks for letting us know about the series. I don't watch much TV but shows like that are so great!
ReplyDeleteWeekend blessings and wonders to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo. Yes, that quote at the end is so very true. So glad that spring is slowly making its way to your part of the world. I hope you have a lovely, cozy weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very much the same here - Spring is creeping in!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos! Spring is finally here, but enjoyed a cool, rainy today! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe lake is looking so pretty! Enjoy the changes.
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo :) Is that a real deer in the picture? Can you believe we both get to see a lake outside our window every single day? It's definitely spring here in Texas and I've got the Claritin to prove it! Can't seem to live without it these days :) Have a beautiful and cozy weekend!
ReplyDeleteNo chilly here--it has been a very humid month--and I think spring has just skipped over us here in Florida. No, have not seen that series. Wishing you a beautiful weekend ,my friend.
ReplyDeletePlease keep the rain on your side of Pennsylvania. Haha just kidding. We do need it. I love the rainy days when you can cozy up indoors.
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful part of the world. The weather is still very changeable here. Cold one day, then warm the next. Xx
ReplyDeleteOh, the deer you see around your yard makes my heart sing! There's nothing quite like sitting next to a fire relaxing on a rainy day. It's raining today here too, and had to turn my heater back on. Your fireplace, I might add, looks just like Nel's, it's so charming. Thanks for the Netflix movie suggestion. Animals in the wild are fascinating to watch. Your photos are wonderful, and yes, looks like Spring is coming around.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week, dear friend.
