Everything looks so nice! Are those vintage Christmas cards? I love them. Oooh, Scrabble. I've always struggled with that game. lol I like to think I'm fairly intelligent but then I try to play Scrabble. Oh my gosh, Nestor the Long Eared Donkey made me cry SO HARD when I was young!!!! His mother . . . *sobbing*
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas!
Yes, we need to stay warm. It is the first day of winter. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tea scene!
ReplyDeleteLove Nestor!! Watched it every year as a young child. Cried like a baby too. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWe just had our grandkids for a sleepover and some meals. Dancing, crafting, a movie, chatting…all great fun. Great family time. Yours sounds lovely too. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour afternoon tea sounds delightful. I also love your Christmas tree tablecloth! I cannot believe Christmas is only four days away. Wow! It's almost here. Your home looks so warm, cozy and festive. I love the dried orange garland. I've always wanted to make one for myself. I'll put that on next years list! Merry Christmas, dear friend!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so cozy! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful Christmas scene! May you and yours have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas and a Wonderful New Year to you and yours , all the way from North 🎄Carolina
ReplyDeleteLOVE the idea of tea...and I was thrilled when a friend invited me to her house for afternoon tea tomorrow. Your idea is catching on...we need to bring more of those sweet, old-fashioned ideas back! Your photos are magazine-worthy, it just looks like a wonderful time, thanks for inspiring us all with your family gatherings. So so glad to have discovered your blog, Mary
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful tea!! I love your Christmas decor. Your home looks so cozy.
ReplyDeleteI think I say this every time you post about it but that Christmas scrabble game looks so fun! Such wonderful ideas, all so simple yet very cozy. Hope you are having a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tea! Madison has definitely taken after you! I hope you and your beautiful family have a very merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely tea! Enjoy my friend!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy drinking tea as it is better than coffee for me. Never did like coffee years ago before new flavors came out. Nope...less caffeine in teas than coffee. I need to drink something soon as I am thirsty. Been a bit busy at home and trying to stay warm. It's freezing outside and now there is ice and some snow. Low 20 degree range here in our spot in Oregon. Will see how good it will be to go to work tomorrow even though it's not too far to drive. Merry Christmas to you and family!
ReplyDeleteOh, I watched Nestor, it was delightful as ever. The Christmas tea with the girls sounds wonderful. You know, my sister used to have those oranges and cloves in her house all the time, and her kitchen smelled so nice. I like how you added ribbon to yours. The tree ornament with the words is beautiful. And a very special list to bring joy to others at Christmastime. So many are without families and lonely this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Billie Jo.
