Two of my very favorite moms from when I was young. They were, you know, moms. They were...old. Today, I turn 53! Several years older than they were at the time!!!!!
Happy Wednesday!
Billie Jo

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I remember being a kid and realizing I'd be 36 in the year 2000 and thinking I'd be so old!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I remember those ladies thinking they were old. Gosh, they weren't much older than me. When we're young, everyone is old. You are so right....it's our perspective. Enjoy your day and forget about the number of years.
ReplyDeleteHappiest of birthdays to you my friend!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful birthday! You aren't old at all. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Billie Jo! Oh, Carolyn is definitely my favorite tv mom. I hope you have a special day filled with so many wonderful things. : )

Happy birthday to you!!! I know what you're saying, today my four year old grandson said, "Grandma, you are REALLY OLD." Yes, I am. How did this happen to us? I am very thankful for my life, and I love your blog because you are so thankful too. I think Ma Ingalls was my favorite, she was so graceful and kind....from the books too, some of my favorite quotes are from her: "Least said, soonest mended..." and "It takes all kinds of people to make the world go around..." Happy birthday, hope is a fun one!

ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember when my parents are the age I am now and remembering how I thought they were so old then.
Happy Birthday! Those are some of my favorite 'old' moms too, along with Mrs. Walton (as someone else mentioned). And it really is funny how the people I thought were so old back in the day, when I see those shows now, are realize how young they really were!! lol
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Billie Jo! Hope it is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Billie Jo! May your days be blessed and beyond virtual friend!! I remember those ladies when I was in my teens. My kids liked watching Little House on the Prairie. Good show for sure!! Hugs!

ReplyDeletePerspective is everything!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, age is just a number. Have a blessed day and year ahead. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you!! I was shocked to learn that the actress who played Aunt Bea on Mayberry was younger than I when she started that role. Of course, I'm 64, but still! I hope you had a lovely day.
