Coffee And A Candle Monday

Good morning, friends. I usually compose my posts in the early morning, so I thought for the Monday mornings leading up to Christmas, I would share the coffee I'm having and the candle I am burning. Because. Cozy. Today, I am having a new favorite coffee, Starbucks Mocha flavored ground coffee with a splash of Coffeemate Pumpkin Spice creamer. My mug is a favorite Disney mug that each of the kids received several years ago. And my candle? My candle is our family's very favorite Yankee Candle Home For the Holidays. I have burned this scent in our holiday home for as long as I can remember. The kids say it makes our home smell like Christmas.

It is chilly and rainy here in Pennsylvania today. Flynn is still on Thanksgiving break, so today I will finalize December lesson plans and deep clean our bathroom. Other than that, I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing. It is just that kind of day! Thank you for sharing coffee with me today. I hope you have a cozy, safe, healthy, and happy Monday, my friends!

  1. Looks cozy! It is raining/snowing here today; supposed to be the first measurable snow today. My kids are back in school today so there is that. Hope you have a great day!

  5. I love it, perfect for a cozy day. Now I am curious about that candle, might have to check it out. And deep cleaning bathrooms is always so satisfying. Perhaps not glamorous, but I love the results!!

  6. Another new-blog-look here...

I no longer use regular candles. Only safe ones. Natural soy... No toxins. I have found places, to order them, on line.

Rainy here too!!!! Need lots of lights, in rooms we are in. Like now, in den, with lights on. But not on, in Hearth Room. -smile-

    Gentle hugs...

  7. I love the traditions we all have at Christmas time. I always burn Yankee Candles Home Sweet Home or Claire Burkes Christmas Traditions-both smell like Christmas to my family.
Cute cup and a fun reminder of past Christmases. xo Diana

  11. Thanks for sharing your cozy. I LOVE that yankee candle too. That was the air freshner I always had in my car too. Lol The new blog look is amazing! So professional ❤️ I'm playing catch up on blogs but so happy to see you had a nice Thanksgiving too. Now on to holiday cheer...pandemic or not. We have the Lord in our hearts and what this season is truly all about. 🎄 🙏 👼 Blessings. xoxo

  12. Your candle looks nice and cozy. Yankee candles are sturdy and last a long time. I love it when we use our candles so much that they start to dwindle down. Your Disney cup is so cute. The girls would love it, as they often visit downtown Disney. Your plan of doing a whole lot of nothing sounds just right to me. It's nice to reflect and just enjoy the Christmas season. : )
