Thoughts On My Life Thus Far

 My Teens

                               I can't wait to be 13 so I can get a phone in my room!

I can't wait to be 16 so I can drive!

I can't wait to be 18 to be an adult!

My 20's

I can't wait to be 21 because...21!

I can't wait to be done with school!

I can't wait to get married!

I can't wait to get my own house!

I love my job!

I can't wait to get pregnant!

I love being a mom!

My 30's

Wow! I'm 30!

Yay! I'm pregnant!

I'm pregnant again!

I love having little kids!

I love naps, Nick Jr., babies, bottles, trucks, and Barbies!

What happened to my 20's??

Could I ever have one more baby?

Wait. I'm 39???

My 40's

I am having a baby at 40!

I am so blessed!

A Mammogram?

I weigh how much??

Premenopause? Can you repeat that?

So I can't eat anything I want anymore??

High cholesterol? 

When am I going to start feeling like I'm almost 50?

Wow. Teenagers get a bad rap. These years are great!

I thought I already went through adolescence.

Where are all these emotions coming from?

I thought Mothers of the Bride were OLD!

Menopause.  How?

It was way more fun going to the gynecologist when I was pregnant.

My 50's...So Far

I. Am. 50.

Wait. That's it?

This isn't so bad. Really.

My kids are growing up and I am super proud of them.

I have so much more time for myself.

Wow. I feel so much better than I did a few years ago.

I can still do things I want to do. Just...slower. 

A colonoscopy???

A crown? On my head or my tooth???

Basal Cell Carcinoma? But I hate the sun!

Should I buy anti-wrinkle neck cream???

My mom wasn't old when I thought she was.

Life goes by really quickly.

I am going to relax and enjoy it.

Wow.

I am 51. Today.

And I am blessed!
