Red Light, Green Light. And Blond Again

Hello, my friends. Our governor released his plan for opening-up our beautiful state of Pennsylvania. Currently, the entire state is in the Red Zone, with plans for some counties to begin moving near or into the Yellow Zone on May 8, 2020. It is nice to have something concrete to refer to as we continue to work our way through this most uncertain time.

In other news, my hair is back to blond. My Madison found an awesome gloss and helped me applied it yesterday. We really had no idea how it would work but were pleasantly surprised that it cooled the warm tones and brightened my colored hair. It also really made it soft and shiny. It isn't a color, but a gloss to use on colored hair. It comes in different shades and is available at Target. I ordered it online.

That's it from rainy Pa, my friends.
Stay happy, healthy, and cozy.
Thanks for visiting!

  1. So glad you found something for your hair. I ordered some purple and blue hair color from ColorPanda this morning. Decided to try something a little different and fun. It is only supposed to last until you wash it out but should be something fun to do. I am glad that your Governor has given you guidelines. We are waiting for our Governor to do the same. I had heard someone say he was supposed to have them in place by Monday which some places being allowed to open as early as May 1. I will wait and see. I think the unknown is what is making people antsy and causing a lot of the concern. I hope you have a great weekend. We are supposed to have rain all day tomorrow and Sunday!

  2. Hi Billie Jo - your hair looks great. Utah is doing something very similar to PA. I just hope it is not too soon to loosen everything up. We may be social distancing and wearing masks for a while. Have a happy Friday and a nice weekend!

  5. I have always loved your hair, and I really liked the color you posted the other day, smiles.

No such luck here with any plans of opening, our local hospital is allowed to start doing elective surgeries. Word on the street is JULY. Sigh...I thought NY and PA were working together? Maybe not? At this point in time, enough. sigh.

I hope you have a great weekend, friend...(ps as soon as everything reopens, I will be running to the hairdresser, I simply can't take much more, sigh).

  8. Your hair looks beautiful. I just put an order in to Madison Reed, I read a lot of good things on it. Thanks for the chart. We are planning to start back to Pa from southern Fl next Sunday. We do miss our home, and after all my hubby has been through with the bypass surgery, we feel blessed to be traveling back home!

  11. I think we have a month yet before much will be opening. I look forward to getting my hair done when that time comes! Yours turned out beautifully!!

  12. I hope the re-opening of businesses is not too soon. I don't think that I'll be going to restaurants, etc. in the near future. And I'm so glad that these precious children will be at home for awhile with their schooling. It seems that when one kid gets sick in the classroom or at day care, it passes on to the next. We have to protect the children. : )

Your hair color is lovely. Target is the best. We always find what we're looking for there, and they really have made lives easier during this time by stocking up and being so helpful. : )
