And strategically plan our meals so we can eat the big one as late as possible, crave a big juicy burger from Wendy's even though we wouldn't eat one the other 364 days of the year, go to bed earlier than usual because we are starving five minutes after dinner, and dream of what we are going to eat first thing Thursday morning.
Have a good Ash Wednesday, friends!
P.S. You have seen Mean Girls, right????
LOL! Great one for today! Annster's Domain
ReplyDeleteLOL....have a good Ash Wednesday my friend.
ReplyDeleteFasting so fun. We fast once a month and give what we would spend on meals to the poor. It is hard.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely have seen Mean Girls and yes, what is it about telling people they can't have something that makes them want it so much?!
ReplyDeleteYep, I know all about craving something you don't usually have right when you can't have it!! Love your strategies though. xx Susan
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteA great way to begin the Holy Season of Lent!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful...made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI've not seen Mean Girls (yes, I know, I live a sheltered life. ~wink~) but I do understand that the minute I choose to give up something that is exactly what I crave. ~smile~ xo
ReplyDeleteNo, I've not seen mean girls. My pastor talks about giving things up for Lent, but we are not Catholic, so I don't really understand. I just know we both love Jesus, and that's the most important part. I'd love to know of what Lent means to you.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Laura
LOL- How comical. Belated Happy Ash Wednesday...hey...better late than never, right? xo Diana
