Saturday afternoon we went to Mass...
And Monday morning we made waffles.
We enjoyed a couple of hot days and decided to pull out, clean up, and fill our little inflatable pool...
And that made one little lady very happy!
The pups enjoyed the beautiful afternoon too.
I began one of my very favorite things ever...
Lesson planning!
I love getting ready for a new school year!
The mornings were perfect for walks together...
And we enjoyed all the beauty of late August in Pennsylvania.
We spent some time relaxing too...
We lit a cozy candle...
And enjoyed a piece of Peyton's delicious peach pie.
August means peaches.
And peaches mean pie.
Have a cozy weekend with your people, my friends.
Thanks for visiting!
So pretty there -- love the photo updates! Peach pie -- my fave! YUM! Have a fabulous weekend sweetie!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo~
ReplyDeleteLooks so comfy, cozy! Peach pie sounds wonderful! Photos are gorgeous, and it's hard to believe that it's almost . . . sweater time!! I'm so excited for Autumn!
Have a great week-end.
Hugs,
Barb
I love seeing your curriculum because it's the same as mine!!! My littles begged and begged me this week as I was getting everyone's lesson plans ready (and taking out the answer keys and getting them ready with my teacher stuff) to start school! SO we had our first day already for just the littles two! I love CHC's 2nd grade the best! The Continents are SO fun to do, we actually get a tagboard for each month and we cut everything out and tape/glue it to the tagboard, SO fun! The First Communion prep is the best!! Wish we lived closer!!
ReplyDeleteLovely collection of photos, of a lovely collection of memories.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter in law is going to home school their 7 year old this year. Don't like the public school, and private school is too expensive, with one in college and one going to college next year, and another in HS. -sigh-
Hope she does well with it. He is a sharp little guy, and will be happy to gobble up, all he is taught. But it is brand new.
Gentle hugs, Luna Crone
Wonderful. I am so glad to read this today. I need some sunshine in my life. Your blog brings that to me, always.

ReplyDeleteLove your cozy and beautiful photos! I always want to have the peace in your photos in my own home, but it never seems to work out that way! LOL! Your pool shots are so fun! I used CHC once upon a time! :) Have a blessed school year and thanks always for your encouraging visits and comments on my posts!
