We ventured to the Pumpkin Patch this week on a glorious autumn afternoon! This is a tradition Steve and I began when our little Madison was almost one year old, and it remains one of my favorites. : )
Just pulling in makes me happy...
...my baby being old enough to pull the wagon? Not so much!
It took no time at all for the pumpkins to be chosen...
and for a few photos to be taken.
Then we headed home.
While Daddy picked up Pizza...no cooking on Pumpkin Patch Night...it's a rule...look it up...The girls and I set the table for a spooky, festive meal.
Then my super hubby got to work decorating...
And that was that. Pumpkin Patch 2015 is in the books.
And in my heart. : )
What a fun tradition! I also have fond memories of taking the kids and grand kids to a nearby pumpkin patch! I also love your decorations. This is such a great family tradition! Thanks and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful pumpkin patch and what precious memories you have made and are making :) Autumn blessings to you, my friend!
ReplyDeletelooks like an awesome day and so sweet the puppy got to share in this memory! Decorations look great :-) This year our garden produced a ton of pumpkins lol, so I guess we don't have to pick this year. Have a great day!

Such a wonderful tradition, memories to treasure and share.
ReplyDeleteI love it. Fall family activities are my deepest pleasure. There's something about the crisp air and the smell of leaves while spending time with family that just fills my soul with goodness. It's those moments full of hygge. (Has Nicolas explained hygge to Madison/you? Your pumpkin patch day exemplifies it!. And you'll be so thankful for a word for it!)
ReplyDeleteCute baby puppy! Kiss kiss kiss
