Ordinary Days

...are the best days. Don't you agree? Here are a few pictures of the past week in our country home. And...a couple of ordinary days in Denmark too. : )


Quiet, lazy mornings...

prep for our upcoming school year...


which includes ironing these cute Etsy finds. Because when we dress for school, we feel better.
Although...we do many, many days in our jammies. Just a little disclaimer there. To keep it real, you know. : )


Beautiful afternoon walks...in jammies and rainboots and unbrushed hair...








yummy afternoon snacks...


and beautiful evenings on the porch...





before we head in for cozy nights on the couch with our Pirates.


Meanwhile...in Denmark...my girl is having the time of her life!
Her Nicolas is taking her to zoos and parks and on picnics...


in front of castles, no less! They are having a wonderful time and I am so happy for her. She loves his family, and they are taking such good care of her. I even got a text from my girl that they went to church. With pictures to prove it!!!! : ) She returns next week...full of memories and excitement I'm sure.

    Love love love it!! Those ordinary days are the BEST - especially with the ones we love.
    And Madison does look like she's having the time of her life. Long distance must be so difficult, but they both seem to show so much maturity in their dedication and caring to each other. I think they both must have been raised right by some awesome parents! ;)

    I love ordinary regular days! (And my favorite time at church is Ordinary Time!) Anyway, thanks for sharing your beautiful life and family with us on your blog. And do you think your sweet Madison is going to come home with an engagement ring??? They look so happy and peaceful in those pictures!

    We reared our children on a 30 acre farm and now live in the city. I miss those walks in pajamas! Beautiful pictures and so glad Madison is having a good time. Happy Friday to you.

    Yes, ordinary days are the best and I've been enjoying many of them. Coffee and game shows are right up my alley. My favorites are Family Feud, $20,000 Pyramid and The Match Game. I love the beautiful pictures that you took outdoors and that amazing rainbow.
