A Peek Inside...Or At...My Coffee, Tea, And Cocoa Table

So awhile back I posted about my coffee cupboard. I kept all my coffee, tea, and cocoa in a little cupboard over my Keurig. And it worked great. Until it didn't. With the kids home now, we are drinking a lot more coffee (me!), tea (Madison and me), and cocoa (Peyton). We were in and out of that little cupboard all day long. Soooo, I decided to change things up a bit. I went shopping at my favorite store...my house...and found that the table in the mudroom would make a perfect place to put all our daily hot beverage needs. I moved the mudroom table into the kitchen, and replaced it with a smaller one that was sitting lonely in the kitchen, serving no purpose except collecting dust. I rearranged a few things in the pantry, and came out with two little baskets. And now...the finished product. Much easier to access, and kinda fun looking too. : )

Here's the top...

with mugs waiting...

to be filled with your choice of hot coffee, tea or cocoa.

And on the bottom...some of my cookbook collection to tie it all together.

Have a seat and share a cup with me, won't you friends?

  3. "A Peek Inside" don't you know that I get all giddy when you have a post with that in the title. I lean in, take my time, and soak it all in! How I love a peek into your country, cozy, wonderful house! ~ The gooseberry patch bookbooks... love love love them too! They look adorable lined up on the shelf there! ~ I love this idea. I have a little "tea table" we call it but really it just holds the tea cups we use and a little dessert tray. I'd love to redo that with little baskets. I love your mugs out and the pretty baskets. I ALWAYS want to go redo my kitchen when I see yours. ~ Delightful Billie Jo, Delightful!

  15. I need you over here pronto! Love this idea (of course the girls at this age would pull everything off of the shelves. Clara would eat the books. They'd be climbing up... but when they're older this is SUCH a good idea!)
