Lent begins today, and our Lenten plans are complete. This year I decided to simplify. I tend to change our plans from year to year, tweaking and reevaulating as needed. This year I chose to keep it simple and focus on the basics of this solemn time of preparation.
May you all have a Blessed Lent, my friends.
beautiful plans! I love this season.
ReplyDeleteLove your Lent plans. Blessings of the Lenten season to you and your family too.
ReplyDeleteSimple is the best. For sure!
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds perfect! (Especially the part about making hot cross buns!) And I think simple is always better.
ReplyDeleteSounds simple and perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love that you're keeping it simple... I'm not that good at Lent... but maybe I can do a few things... I feel inspired by your blog (as always) Attending a few Lent things the church offers it where I think I will start... do I have to go to confession? And why do I get so nervous about that? Still !
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo~
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful plan, and a beautiful way to remember.
Hugs,
Barb
Your plans look wonderful, so nice to do things as a family.
ReplyDeleteSometimes simple is better. Loved reading about your plans.
ReplyDeleteSimple plans are often the best. ;)
ReplyDeleteToday I did some extra good meditative devotional time. I will go receive my ashes soon. I have a plan for some sacrifice and "doing" that I want to devote to this holy and reflective season. I want to scrub my heart and be clean and open for what the Lord has ahead for me. I'm forever still blown away by what our Jesus has done for us. Blessings beyond measure.
Wishing you a blessed Lenten season dear Friend. xoxo
