Or, as I also refer to it...Random Pictures That Have No Direct Correlation To Each Other But Are On My Camera Roll This Week.
First up. I don't enjoy shopping in stores. I never have, and getting older has not made it any easier. I have no reason other than that I get overwhelmed sometimes, and that no matter the season, I am always way too warm in those places. Anyway, Rhett, Kyrstin, Flynn, and I went out this week, and we ended up in a Hallmark Store. I found a set of the cutest Peanuts glasses ever! Yesterday, Steve brought Flynn and me a snack during school, and he used my new Snoopy glass! In case you are wondering, that is orange juice mixed with pineapple juice. My favorite.
These two had an anniversary this week. Seven years! I have watched them grow from an adorable young couple from two different countries just meeting to the most beautiful, successful, and happy young couple who love and share with us the wonderful Danish way of life. Happy Anniversary!
The next pictures are of...you guessed it! The pups! Kyrstin found a special Valentine that could be Cosmo's twin, and he loves it!
This would be me. Every morning with my coffee and two cozy pups on my lap.
And all three, waiting for someone to come through the door.
Peyton sent us a picture of these Valentine cupcakes she made! And if I could reach through the screen and pass them out to you, I would!
Steve has taken over much of the cooking lately, and he has mastered the art of baked chicken. It is delicious.
And, I was up early today. Which, since I was treated to this outside my door, was perfectly fine with me!
Well, have a LOVE-ly Valentine's weekend, my friends. Do what you love! And Happy Valentine's Day!
BillieJo

ReplyDeleteGreat post Billie Jo and a joy to read. I have never loved shopping. I can remember my mother and sister leaving me on a corner in town ‘guarding’ all the shopping bags as they popped in and out of the ‘mom and pop’ places that they used to be – long before supermarkets - when I was around 10 or 11. I do not like shopping at all, or crowds. I do like Hallmark stores though because they have the neatest little gifts to browse through. Love those peanut glasses and I never thought of mixing orange juice and pineapple juice. I’m going to try that real soon. Happy 2nd Anniversary to your Sweeties. A lovely photo of them! Cosmo and Cosmo’s twin is a darling gift from Kyrstin, and adorable photos of those darling pups. Peyton’s Valentine cupcakes look delicious and very professional looking. I wish I could reach through the screen too. Steve’s chicken looks yummy, here’s me reaching through the screen again. What a sky to welcome at sunrise. Stunning views! Thanks for finishing off with those funnies, they and your post gave me the biggest smile as I leave. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Your photographs are beautiful, Billie Jo. Especially the ones looking out over the water.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines! To your family, from mine. Xx
Hi Billie Jo! I feel the same way about shopping, which is why my wardrobe is really lacking. I go into a store and get so overwhelmed by all the clothing options. Honestly, I need to hire a personal stylist to go shopping with me. I don't feel this way when making selections for our home. I think it's because I really enjoy design and decorating, but my wardrobe is another story. Please share where you like to shop for clothing! I find a few things here and there at J.Crew, but that's about it. I feel that so many things look way too young for me! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with lots of sweet things. I could go for one of Peyton's delicious-looking cupcakes right now. She's a very talented baker! Happy Anniversary to Nicholas and Madison. They make an adorable couple! Happy Sunday, dear friend! Have a great week.❤️
ReplyDeleteIf you would pass that cupcake through this screen, I would happily grab it and devour it!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. You might have to run to the store for that discounted chocolate. Be super quick:)
ReplyDeleteBillie Jo, your meals look delicious! As I've gotten older, my chicken has gotten too cooked and I long to make a thoroughly cooked, but tender and juicy baked chicken breast. I always overcook it. The pictures of your sunrise are just gorgeous. That's certainly worth getting up early for :) Have a wonderful week, my friend. My blog is down for now. Not sure it's coming back, but I'll be in the comments.
