Cozy throws adorned with colorful leaves ~ Freshly sharpened pencils and shiny new schoolbooks ~ A brand new month in my favorite planner ~ Lists of fall movies, meals, and desserts ~ And a favorite quote to welcome my favorite time of year ~
Have a cozy Wednesday, my friends! It is cooler and cloudy today here in Pennsylvania. Homeschool, dinner, and a relaxing evening of tv with my family are what is on tap today. How about you!
Billie Jo
Is Young Frankenstein on your list? It's a classic....rofl!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the cozy feel I have after visiting your blog. It inspires me to savor all things cozy! Yesterday my grown children and I watched a Disney show called the Wizards of Waverly Place. It was a fun cozy afternoon with some of my favorite people in this world. Hugs to you dear friend. ~Juli
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about the new Hocus Pocus that is coming out this month.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the cooler weather so I can take my walks.
ReplyDeleteOh, that quote is wonderful. I also write down sweet quotes in my journal. Your throws look so Fall looking, and I've always loved your Great Pumpkin coffee cup. It makes me smile every time. Your "September Signs" post was delightful. Have a good September week, Billie Jo.

Love your background wallpaper. Our temps are high 90s. But, I'm trying to bring on the fall with a new knitting project :)
ReplyDeleteLook at little Mocha! What a cutie! Homeschool is in full swing over here. Today is Charlotte's second day and it's going well. I hope the two of you are also enjoying school and getting into the swing of things again. It's going to be a good year! Enjoy the cooler weather for me. It's still very muggy and warm here. I love your autumn stickers! I've always loved sweet little stickers from as far back as I can remember. I had my own sticker box as a child and I'm still a fan. I have something fun for autumn that I'll send over to you to print out. I think you'll like it!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your posts about homeschooling. They just make me feel so cozy! My new oven/combo finally arrived - so I can bake again! yippee! I'm thinking I may need to bake something this evening. And snuggle in to catch up on Big Brother with my kiddos. Blessings on Flynn's school year ahead. And on the rest of your week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, that face! Could just cuddle that little doggy all day.
ReplyDeleteLove the list of movies to watch, what a great idea! I'll do that - you always have such terrific ideas to share, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo! I love that list of movies. Those are perfect for fall, moving up to Halloween! Your handwriting is beautiful and you are so neat and organized! I see that book about the Lives of Saints on the top of your book stack. I have a book about the lives of Saints too. I may have to bring that out and read it. Even though I am not Catholic, I think the lives and faith of the Saints are truly exemplary! Hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteLooks cozy there! Soups, chili and warm throws are all good things about Fall.
ReplyDeleteOh, those spooky movies! I can't watch "When a Stranger Calls", oh no, too scary for me...all those windows with no drapes, the suspense, nope. But this rainy weather has been nice and cozy, I've had my wax warmer melting yummy pumpkin spice wax, smells so autumn-y in here!

The cooler weather here in Seattle has been so nice! Makes it easier to sleep at night. And I do so much better when I've had a good night's sleep. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo : ). Long time I know but I had some time and yours is the first blog I visit! Love your cozy photos especially your tray of pencils... this is one of my favorite lines from my favorite movie... "I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils, If I knew your name & address"

ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo! I love how you always make your home so cozy! That list of movies...yes...tis' the season for spooky! Hugs, Barb
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to FALL this year. The cooler temps and low humidity will be welcomed:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about fall here too but it'll be a while! We are supposed to have a front with drier air come through next week. Lower humidity means better feeling air, even if it is hot air!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall Billie Jo, what a cute puppy!
