Happy Friday, my friends! Welcome to the last weekend of July! How was your week? Our week was busy and cooler, with some welcome rain. Flynn enjoyed her art camp at the local art gallery. She also had tennis and piano lessons and helped Madison at her store. Throw in some tubing with a friend, and her week was packed! Mocha and I had some free time along with Kirby. I wish I could say I used it productively, but aside from laundry and some cooking, I can report that Netflix has some interesting documentaries available.
Same for this one! Thanks, Kyrstin!
Our pizza nights continue to evolve. Last night, Flynn had a friend over for tubing, so afterward, we made pizza! My favorites were the cheese and the tomato basil! We also made chicken alfredo and pepperoni with half steak. I essentially used leftover things from the fridge and turned them into pizza!
These two had a breakfast date this week! These girls who used to play Barbies and dress up and shared a room with two twin beds are both married women now. But they are still the best of friends. Could a mother be happier?
The weekend looks to be lovely weather-wise. We are invited to Madison and Nicolas' house for dinner and some peach dessert tonight! Tomorrow is mass; after that, Flynn is invited to spend the night at Peyton and Chris' house. She is so excited! Sunday, for me, is blissfully free. We will see what the day holds. I hope you enjoy your weekend, my friends. Thanks for visiting. I am always glad you do!
Oh! I am thrilled to report that another of my blogger friends has returned after some time off! Wendi has a beautiful blog RIGHT HERE if you want to pop over.

It's hard to believe it is almost August. Enjoy your weekend Billi Jo!!
ReplyDeleteHey beautiful friend. It sounds like a perfect week to me. When my kids get busy like Flynn was I always think I am going to be productive yet I tend to chill, do basics, and veg out! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThose pizzas look amazing. I love pizza. One of my favorite things to eat. I wish my husband did. My kids and I always have to do it when he isn't home. HAHA! But I love it. I could literally eat it daily.
Have a super weekend!
I'm curious about what had you so mesmerzed on Netflix. They got the new season ready for Virgin River and I've already binge watched the whole season. Boy, did they leave us hanging at the end of the late episode!!
ReplyDeleteHi Billie Jo. That is such a beautiful picture of your daughters. It's so great that they are still friends. Your pizza looks delicious. I love Netflix documentaries. Any recommendations? We recently watched a sad one called "The Girl in the Picture." I am currently reading The Family Across the Street. If memory serves, I think you told me that one was good. Hope you have a very nice weekend. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteI watched a lot of TV during my recent bout with covid...Netflix among them. One of the documentaries that sucked me in was about the group of fundamental Mormons that was in the news several years back. I forget the name of the docu. It was sort of a play on "Eat, Pray, Love." Those pizzas look delicious and your upcoming weekend sounds perfect. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWe're enjoying a few beautiful days in between heat blasts here. It's so very welcome. It would be fun to read your Netflix recommendations. I've made note of two from Deb's comments above. :)
