I don't do fashion posts very often, because, let's face it. Who really wants to see what I wear to Mass on Saturday? In the interest of documentation, however, I am including this little post for future reference. Just in case I ever wonder what I wore on the second weekend of June when I was forty-nine years old.
Madison is such an inspiration to me, as well as a confidence booster. She makes me feel comfortable in clothing I used to worry about wearing. Case in point, retro dresses. As you may or may not know, I dream of living in the 1950s. Now, thanks to my daughter and her eye for fashion, I can at least dress like I do. And you know, wearing dresses is actually easier and more comfortable. Those women knew what they were doing back then!
Thanks for stopping by, my friends.
Have a wonderful, cozy summer week!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I would love to have lived in the 50's, for SO many reasons... .the dresses and big poofy skirts were so cute!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I always said I was born later than I should have bee. I always anted to be Donna Reed vacuuming in pearls. If I had been born 20 ears earlier I would have had a husband that could support me and I could have stayed home with my kids and been a house wife. Al I ever wanted to do was have a beautiful home and be a house wife.
