This is how we celebrated our Peyton Rose turning Sweet Sixteen...
Flynn, Madison and I decorated her table on Saturday for her party.
For her party, she chose the one dessert she doesn't make!
Junior's Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake. : )
My Peyton Rose...
Pictures on a beautiful afternoon before Mass..
My bestie Marian was so happy to help us celebrate, and we were so happy she could!
Me and my girl. : )
After Mass, we took our Peyton out to dinner.
You know...so she didn't have to cook for her own party. ; )
Grandma, Aunt Margie and Uncle Chris rounded out the guest list...
Missing from the photo?
Steve. Taking the pic. : )
After dinner, we headed home for presents...
Punch...
Pictures...
And Sweet Sixteen wishes. : )
Her actual birthday began with not-quite-homemade cinnamon rolls...
And included deliveries of beautiful flowers...
And balloons.
We took the day off of school.
Because. Birthday. : )
And relaxed and watched favorite shows and sat on the porch...
Before wishing our girl a Happy Sweet Sixteen one more time.
(And yes...she made her own cake. Because she insisted.)
As I sat down to type this post, I heard her say, "I am so happy!"
And that made me as happy as the day they placed her in my arms...
Sixteen sweet years ago today.
Happy Birthday, Peyton Rose!
