A Touch Of The Irish

As the pink and red hearts come down, the green and gold shamrocks go up! Here is a peek at March in our country home. : )

Here is The St. Patrick's Day mantel...

with a sweet little pillow nearby.

I moved the little holiday tree to the other side of the room...

and added some cute St. Patrick's Day signs.

This little print rests on the sideboard...

near this pretty, fresh smelling candle on a pretty plate.
If you are wondering, it smells fresh...almost like fresh cut grass. : )

This fun little sign hangs above my desk...

while this one greets visitors in the mudroom.

And this beautiful candle burns every evening in our country home. : )

Happy St. Patrick's Day, my friends!

  3. I love how you decorate and put so much love into each special thing each month!! We read about the Irish immigrants in our 8th grade religion this past week, and I am so thankful to the Irish, they are the ones that were steadfast and strong in keeping their faith and bringing it to America. Seriously, AMAZING!!

Made me happy I am 1/4 Irish!!!

    Happy Weekend!!

  4. The irish green is special to me in two ways - my maiden name is murphy and of course irish there, but my oldest granddaughter was born on St. Patty's Day. Love your decorations....you are gifted for sure.

  5. Oh dear friend, I love the touches of green. I really like that you decorate a little tree through out the year. I know your kids like this too and a tradition that they will forever remember. The banner is darling. Great job!

  6. Hi Billie Jo! Your decor has warmed my Irish heart! I always think of my daughter especially now. She participated in Irish Dance for many years. The hair curling was kind of a pain (until I caved and bought her a wig), but I loved the music and the dancing.

Thank you for telling us what that candle smelled like. I wondered!
Have a great weekend my dear friend :)

  9. Billie Jo, so festive and cheerful! Love it! I do not have a single solitary St Patrick's Day decoration. I am going to buy corned beef to fix though! (does that count?)

Anyway, I was having trouble with my last blog and had to start over. Welcome welcome!
