Happy Things

Sometimes it is nice to stop and think of the things that bless us and make us happy, like visiting your grown daughter and her husband and being spoiled with love, delicious food, and amazing hot coffee.

Or returning home to the most delicious meal of pasta with short ribs cooked by a wonderful family friend.

Or the gift of beautiful skies on warm August evenings.

Have a lovely weekend, my friends. Notice some happy things!

And maybe, just maybe, pull out some fall???

Billie Jo

  3. Beautiful food and great memories are being made. It's 89F here in Custer State Park in SD. No fall decor but I do have the camper feeling very homey. I hope your weekend is wonderful.
    Blessings and hugs,

  4. Well, here in Florida decorating for Fall really is premature but at the same time I hasten to add that we are getting A LITTLE cooler of late. (highs in the mid to low 90s instead up upper 90s). That autumn scene on the big screen TV is beautiful. Some special screen saver, I assume?

  5. Well, I am agreeing with Barbara, here in Florida, it's way too premature to decorate, LOL. Wishing you a lovely evening.

  12. I have been itching to pull Fall out .... I am holding off for one more week though. Our summers are so short and usually cool but we have had heat waves all summer this year. I am ready for the crisp cool evenings and mornings. AND for a pumpkin latte. Have a great rest of the weekend. xo Diana

  13. Hi Billie Jo! Lovely post. You remind me that it's almost time to decorate for fall. I usually wait until September 1, but maybe I will get my fall things out a little early this year, just because I can. I hope you have a great week and are enjoying "back to school" with your youngest. See you again soon!

  14. Good evening, Billie Jo. I like the photos of the outside before sunset and clouds. Good to be with family and have delicious food. There have been a lot of clouds lately but it's still hot outdoors but no rain yet. Hopefully soon. Enjoy your new week into September that's not too far away now!! God bless you and family!!
