She passed away in 2005 but after my older sisters got married and my parents divorced, my mom would fix us spaghetti noodles when I got home from school. Just noodles with a little butter. I love having a glass of milk when I eat a pasta dish (if I'm not having wine)...does that kind of count? Lol ;)

My comfort food like this is cocoa and toast. A hot cup of cocoa, a few marshmallows, and a piece of toast with only melted butter on it. The key is you have to dunk the toast in the cocoa with each bite. I'm instantly 10 years old and back at home in the winter on a sick day...feeling cozy and cared for.

I get it my Friend - I totally get it. xoxocarrie@northwoods scrapbookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16337824046780952876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-830473372238505362.post-76529974879807126132017-01-11T09:15:26.754-08:002017-01-11T09:15:26.754-08:00I pretty much love anything including pasta so thi...I pretty much love anything including pasta so this sounds delicious to me....now I'm hungry for lunch and it's only 9am :) I think I'll be stocking up on some macaroni next shopping trip!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14152744529601522112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-830473372238505362.post-24372758592597354482017-01-11T09:02:19.664-08:002017-01-11T09:02:19.664-08:00Anything that bring comfort to a cold winter day a...Anything that bring comfort to a cold winter day and memories of past days is a winner to me!
