Random Things I Like To Do In June

Eat tomato sandwiches with big, juicy tomatoes from the farm stand.

Wake with the sun and start my day while the rest of the world still sleeps.

Switch my afternoon coffee to iced coffee with cold foam.

Start looking at and planning Flynn's curriculum for next year.

Count the days until Big Brother premieres on CBS.

Swim, shower, and put on my cozy clothes.

Slowly start looking at fall images and ideas on Pinterest.

Sit on the porch while it rains.

How about you, my friends?

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Billie Jo

  1. Oh, I love these things too, Billie Jo. My aunt used to eat plain tomato sandwiches, and they're the best with homegrown ones. I bet it's fun and interesting for you to start Flynn's school curriculum and to plan all the things for her to learn. I love to have a rainy day in the summertime. And Yes, on looking at those Fall images in magazines and sites. Have a terrific rest of your week!

  7. Waiting for FALL! and yes, Pinterest fall, which is NOW for me. This summer has not started yet, but has been filled with heat and hornets. I have never tried iced coffee with cold foam; I may need a trip to Starbucks. Do you make your own?

  9. Retired and no scool planning! In Florida, most of us stay in the AC and wait for October to cool off so we can enjoy the outside again! I enjoyed your post, Billie Jo! Enjoy your summer with your lovely family! xo

  10. Sit in the sun and read, eat ALL the fresh fruit and produce I can find (in fact we're going strawberry picking tomorrow!), make some fresh jam or pickles or other fun recipes with said fresh produce before it goes bad, kayak...

  12. June is one of those months that feels kind of neutral for me. May is always so busy and then July really feels like a celebration (especially this year) and so June just feels like the beginning of summer with not much fanfare. When the boys were little, June was all about swimming lessons and VBS. Those days were fun :)
