Thank You

Two words...Thank You. Thank you for the love, support, and above all,  prayers you all offered yesterday. The very best thing about blogging for me is the way it has brought such wonderful friends into my life...Women who are scattered all across the country, living individual lives, yet connected through words and pictures and faith and love. The love you offered me and my family as my father battles his Dementia is filling my heart with strength. It is also filling me with peace, knowing that as I go about my days here, your prayers are surrounding him in his room miles away.

That is the hardest part for me. I will be going about my day...teaching, or cooking, or cleaning, or laughing, and suddenly my dear father, in a room some forty miles away, will pop into my mind. The sadness I feel that I can't be with him or talk to him will make me stop and feel so sad. But now, my friends, I will have peace that your prayers are with him and my mother as well. So again, thank you.

Thank you also for the love you showed me and this little old blog in my Sheenazing Award Nomination. Although I didn't win, I discovered some amazing blogs...including the one that won in my category. If you would like to see the list of winners, visit Bonnie here When you are there, please read about and pray for someone else who needs prayers...a young child...suffering from cancer who needs prayers desperately.

That's what is in my heart today, dear friends. Again...two words...Thank You.

  3. The world of blogging truly is amazing and I feel the same way you do about the precious women we meet. I never imagined the blogging world to be so full of such sweet, kind people who have become dear friends. So thankful for you, Billie Jo! Will continue to lift up your dad in prayer as well as you, friend.

  4. Praying today and will continue. The people I have come in contact with here are amazing to me. I look forward each morning to checking in and seeing what is happening in everyone's world. Yes, we are all different, live far apart, are different ages and in different stages, but something has brought us together. God is good!
